Spring 2021 Advanced Yoga Educator Certification Training:

March 14 - April 10, 2021

Join us in Costa Rica or remotely through our Covid-19 on-line option through 2021.

Advance your teaching and deepen your personal yoga practice. Our Yoga Alliance 300-hour yoga teacher training (commonly referred to as 500-hour training) is designed to strengthen your current yoga teaching style and launch you into the next chapter of your yoga inquiry and career.

The 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training builds upon your 200-hour certification from any Yoga Alliance affiliated school, enabling you to lead more advanced principles and techniques of yoga at the 500-hour level. You will graduate fully prepared and authorized to lead workshops, yoga teacher trainings, and continuing education programs in conjunction with the Yoga Alliance.

The curriculum that we follow will enhance and broaden your understanding of the fundamental concepts learned at the 200-hour level. We draw inspiration from modern yoga scholarship and from the lived experience of our training participants. We believe that each group comes together to learn from one another and to take our place in evolving yoga for our time and circumstances. Each participant is a blessing to our program, contributing their own individual expression and creativity. Nexus graduates are uniquely qualified to share their own personal teaching styles upon graduation through yoga asana classes and their own developed spiritual wisdom.

Because of the unique perspective of each participant, our curriculum continues to evolve in service to our current global community. Our school, and the world, is enriched by the dedicated yoga explorers who we have the honor of hosting here at Nexus Institute.

Nexus Institute is a Registered Yoga School with the U.S. Yoga Alliance.

Nexus Institute's 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training results in an advanced 500-hour yoga teacher certification in North America and around the world.

Curriculum

Our 300-hour curriculum uses a scaffolding approach to assist yoga teachers in advancing in the role of professional yoga educator.

Week One we focus on advanced asana; study of the Yoga Sutras; personal self-inquiry; and subtle body technique and practice including breath work, mindfulness, and meditation.

Week Two special emphasis is placed on working with energy through mindful yoga, deepening your yoga inquiry. We give you a behind the scenes look at Nexus program creation and help you turn your talents and interests into a workshop or retreat of your own.

Week Three we will work with you as you define and hone your next steps as a yoga educator including tools for branding, running retreats, workshops, and trainings.

Week Four the training culminates in a 90 minute practice teach of a workshop for the other participants. The experience ends with an evening graduation celebration.

Upon graduation, you are fully authorized to teach yoga at the advanced level and to offer yoga workshops and training programs in the U.S., and in the rest of the world. We are a U.S. Yoga Alliance School. The U.S. Yoga Alliance is recognized internationally.
