GETTING HERE
We are located on Guiones beach in the town of Nosara on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Our address is K-36A Playa Guiones, Nosara, Guanacaste 50206. We’re a two hour drive from Liberia International Airport (LIR) and a four hour drive from the capital city of San Jose (SJO).
How to Get Here
We recommend flying into Liberia (LIR) and booking the two hour airport transfer on line at: terratournosara.com. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name as you emerge from baggage claim, and will deliver you directly to our doorstep. Your shuttle will have wifi.
Accommodations Options
Nexus Institute's private residence "Casa Nexus" is located a few steps from the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Nosara, Costa Rica. The property features an expansive canopy-level vaulted ceiling yoga studio, two kitchens, library, and salt water pool. Accommodations range from private to shared rooms with air conditioning and your own designated kitchen space. Explore nearby restaurants, take advantage of our Costa Rican meal plan, or build your own tropical meals. Everything is walking distance. Off-site commuters can choose from a variety of nearby hostels, airbnb, and vrbo vacation rentals.

A passport is required to enter Costa Rica. It must not expire within 6 months of your visit.

North American-style plugs work fine; a converter is needed for European plugs.

A bank, ATM, pharmacy, restaurants, organic grocery, and shops are all walking distance.

U.S. dollars and major credit cards are accepted by most places in the area.

High speed internet is accessible throughout the property and at most restaurants.

Vaccinations are not required. The only exception is a yellow fever card if you are traveling from some countries in South America or Africa.
Weather
Nosara is a beautiful place to study and practice yoga, as well as a great spot to enjoy the beach and local surf community. Our year-round temperatures range from the mid 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit. December to April is clear, bright, and sunny. From May through September we enjoy clear mornings with intermittent afternoon or evening showers. It is a time of blooming trees, flowers, and fruit. Rains generally increase in October and November, along with glorious sunsets.
Packing
All beach and travel wear is casual. Dress for the tropics. Should you miss anything, our local shops stock sustainable necessities like sun screen, bug spray, and other personal care products. Here is a list to get you started:
