Director of the 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings at Nexus.

Horace Usry is the co-founder and co-director of the Nexus Institute for Yoga & Wellness, where he channels his passion for spiritual growth and personal transformation. After a successful twenty-five-year career in investment banking, Horace’s love for yoga and his commitment to personal development led him to leave the corporate world behind. Though he cherishes the lessons learned in finance, his heart was called to a deeper mission: making yoga, optimal well-being, and inner clarity accessible to all, especially to those who may feel that yoga is either too physically demanding or misaligned with their core beliefs.

As a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher, Nosara Yoga Educator, and Yoga Guide, Horace’s teachings draw deeply from his experiences in shamanic studies, both in the U.S. and in the mountains of Peru. His gentle humor and profound understanding of the human experience are central to his work. Through his guidance, hundreds of practitioners have earned their 200- and 500-hour yoga teacher certifications.

In addition to his work at Nexus, Horace’s passion for writing has culminated in publishing his first book, Pathway to Enlightenment: Embracing Love, Unity, and Oneness, where he shares his journey of spiritual awakening and invites readers to connect with the divine through love, unity, and inner transformation.
