We're working on dates for 2025!
Self-Awakening Yoga® has been called a miraculous returning home to the wisdom of the body. In this 100-hour all-level immersion you will learn the fundamentals of Self-Awakening Yoga, from accessible movement, to mindful awareness. You will experience a non-authoritarian approach to unravel muscle tension, experience new ranges of motion, recover natural movement, and connection with inner felt sense.
What will I learn?
Whether new to yoga, a seasoned practitioner, teacher, or healing professional, this training will certify you as a Self-Awakening Yoga Teacher, able to guide others in movement inquiries layered with mindfulness techniques aimed at accessing interoceptive awareness (inner felt sense). Evidence-based research focused on the process of reconnection with the wisdom of the body. Self-Awakening Yoga, is a profound stand-alone practice, as well as a preparation for traditional yoga poses, starting from a place of awareness and natural alignment.
The Self-Awakening Yoga® methodology balances experiential learning with theoretical grounding. The course includes daily workshops, demonstrations, small group exercises, practice sessions with partners, learning psychology, and skills for designing progressive sequences of natural movement that have sometimes not been felt since childhood.
In the process of Self-Awakening Yoga®, the depth a students body-based wisdom is allowed new space for expression. By traveling to the place where the urge to move originates, Self-Awakening Yoga® hones the capacity for intuitive knowing through the language of sensation.
